Today's Tuesday
Tarot Card is the Eight of Pentacles in the upright position...
Pentacles are also referred to most often as Coins or Diamonds and
signify money, work, or the lack thereof...
Before I begin,
let me just say that there is absolutely nothing evil about
Pentacles as they relate to Tarot Cards, or as symbols of
protection... Through years of misinterpretation and
bickering
(I am putting that mildly) between Christians and Pagans,
misconceptions abound on both sides of that coin! (Pardon the
pun)...
Since I don't
really consider myself a Christian or a Pagan, I can look at this
from an objective standpoint... It would be nice if everyone was
open and tolerant of each others belief
systems...
Today I chose
my Tarot of the Moon deck by Karen Marie Sweikhardt, which is the
most popular with my clients, some of whom are devout
Christians!!!
The 8 of
Pentacles portends a period of hard work and diligence... How
befitting at this time of year with the holidays coming up, since
so many people tend to burn the candle at both ends... I do not
recommend that, as doing so can reap disastrous results... Slow and
steady wins the race, not that you have to be in competition with
anyone... The way I look at it, no one can do what I do, and I have
no desire to do what anyone else does!!!
The 8 of
Pentacles reminds us that even when we work hard there might not be
quite enough to make ends meet, so look for a window that is little
bit cracked, for therein lies an opportunity for an abundant
blessing which could be overlooked if we are not paying
attention!
If you are
looking for a new job, or a promotion, chances are you will get
it... So, uppermost is that you have faith in yourself... They say
with this card it is best not to gamble, and I wholeheartedly
agree... When clients draw the 8 of Pentacles, whether they be
stock brokers or on their way to Vegas, I tell them to pace
themselves... Usually they thank me later!
Hard work will
pay off, although working too hard is never advisable... Again, as
with all things I suggest balance... Our card says that work will
pay off, just remember to grant time for yourself to wind down and
allow your chakras to realign themselves...
Today would
have been my Fathers 97 birthday... I wish my kids could have grown
up having him around... He was a true 'Southern Gentleman' and was
the parent who kept me grounded... (I loved my Mother too, but she
was a handful)!
If your parents
are still around let them know how much you appreciate them even
though they were not perfect... If they are not around anymore, let
them know anyway... They can hear you, believe
me....

I don’t know much about Pentacles but as you say hardwork always pays off. But if you are working hard and not smartly then it will never pay off. Sometime you have to use a little brain not just do things psychically. Always reserve time for you or your family as it relaxes you and give you motivation to work better than before.
